Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Stimulus controllers for BetterPage Rails gem.

Installation

Option 1: npm/yarn

npm install better-page-stimulus
# or
yarn add better-page-stimulus

Then in your app/javascript/controllers/index.js:

import { Application } from "@hotwired/stimulus"
import { registerBetterPageControllers } from "better-page-stimulus"

const application = Application.start()
registerBetterPageControllers(application)

Or register individual controllers:

import { DropdownController } from "better-page-stimulus"
application.register("dropdown", DropdownController)

Option 2: Rails importmap (via CDN)

Add to your config/importmap.rb:

pin "better-page-stimulus", to: "https://unpkg.com/better-page-stimulus/src/index.js"

Then in your app/javascript/controllers/index.js:

import { registerBetterPageControllers } from "better-page-stimulus"
registerBetterPageControllers(application)

Option 3: Rails generator (copies files)

If you prefer to have the files locally for customization:

rails g better_page:install

This copies the controllers to app/javascript/controllers/better_page/.

Dropdown Controller

A dropdown menu controller with click-outside-to-close functionality.
