Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

bird-protocols-info

Parser for protocols information of Bird internet routing dameon. Tested with BIRD 1.6.3.

Require sudo

The BIRD usually run as root. If you run your application with other user (very recommended) then you must add this line to sudoers:

username ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: /usr/sbin/birdc show protocols all

How to use it?

It is a very simple module, so usage is easy:

var protocols = require('bird-protocols-info');

protocols(function(data) {
    console.log(data);
});

That is all.

I'll fix it to be able to switch between IPv4 and IPv6.
