Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Bisu's Code/Text Editor

About

Bisu's code/text editor is an application that provides interactive coding environment.

The user can write Javascript or JSX code on the code-editor section, it will be then executed and result will be displayed on the right panel of code-editor.

Similarly, user can also open text-editor and write notes on it. The text will be then converted to appropriate format.

Lastly, User can add as many code-editor and text-editor as they want. All the editor panels are independent.

Instructions (How to use)

  1. Run "npx bisu-cli serve" in your terminal to install this application.
  2. Once successfully installed, navigate to http://localhost:4005 to open an application
  3. Click on the code-editor/text-editor to add editor panels
  4. All of your changes will be saved into test.js.
  5. Run "npx bisu-cli serve test.js" to view all the changes you made.

Code-editor

  • Note: This application has built-in function show()

  • show() is equivalent to console.log()

  • You can display any Javascript/JSX code by calling show() function

    Example:

        const App = (a, b) => a + b;
        show(App(1,2));
        // output: 3

Text-editor

  • Text-editor has built-in formatting styles.
  • It is just a normal markdown editor with limited features.
