Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

BLOCKSET-JS

The blockset-js application is a command line program that can retrieve data blocks using a content-dependent tree (CDT) hash function as a universal address of the blocks.

Prerequisites

Installation

To install the latest stable version from npmjs.com, run:

npm install -g blockset-js

To unininstall the blockset, run:

npm uninstall -g blockset-js

Usage

Get a file by address:

npx blockset-js <address> <outputFile> [hostName]

Examples

Get a file from remote storage:

npx blockset-js awt9x8564999k276wap2e5b7n10575ffy946kencva4ve out.txt 410f5a49.blockset-js-test.pages.dev

Get a file from local storage:

npx blockset-js hsdfs1zs8fnf810v8f9k6pjdkz7b4y95sembmswac5sjt out.txt
