Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Bowerloom CLI packaging proof

Requires Node >=24.11.0 <25. Install it from npm with npm install -g bowerloom@beta. The beta stream is opt-in through the beta tag. No lifecycle scripts are supplied. No source checkout is needed at installation.

bowerloom init plan --mode new --target /absolute/new-project --name "My project" --goal "Review a project setup" --profile engineer --json

Review the plan. Apply the identical arguments with init apply --approve EXACT_REVISION; use init status --target /absolute/new-project afterward. Setup writes a review-required portable profile and team. It does not run a team, import settings, start Docker, provision a backend, or authorize actions. The bowerloom-mcp bin requires a separately approved installation; it is not a hosted service.

Help, isolated startup, exact setup revision, optional demo planning, and approved synthetic harness projection/removal are distribution acceptance targets in this proof. Other runtime commands, MCP sessions, Docker, database-backed recipes, browser executors, global installation, and other platforms remain unverified as packaged operations.
