Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Buzz Agent Skill

Installs and updates the Buzz CLI skill for Codex and Claude Code.

The package manages skill files only. The native buzz CLI remains owned by Buzz Desktop or a source installation, so updating Buzz also updates the CLI.

Install

npx buzz-agent-skill@latest install

This installs the skill into:

  • ~/.codex/skills/buzz
  • ~/.claude/skills/buzz

Update

npx buzz-agent-skill@latest update

Uninstall

npx buzz-agent-skill@latest uninstall

Check

npx buzz-agent-skill@latest check

Commands print a concise, human-readable summary by default.

Add --json to any command for machine-readable output:

npx buzz-agent-skill@latest install --json
npx buzz-agent-skill@latest update --json
npx buzz-agent-skill@latest uninstall --json
npx buzz-agent-skill@latest check --json

CLI installation

Buzz Desktop includes the native CLI. On macOS, the installer maintains:

~/.local/bin/buzz -> /Applications/Buzz.app/Contents/MacOS/buzz

For source builds:

cargo build --release -p buzz-cli
