Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

CLI for managing buzz-team AI agents

Readme

buzz-team

CLI for provisioning and managing buzz-team AI agents on a Buzz ACP Nostr relay.

Usage

npx buzz-team@latest init

Scaffolds agents.yaml, AGENTS.md, SOUL.md, and .env.example in the current directory. Fill in .env (relay SSH target, GitHub credentials) before continuing.

npx buzz-team@latest id create <name>

Creates a new buzz-team-agent identity: mints a GitHub App, generates a Nostr keypair, enrolls the agent on the relay, and publishes its profile. Composes the following independently idempotent steps, each also runnable on its own:

| Command | Does | |---|---| | key create <name> | Generate (or reuse) the agent's Nostr keypair | | app create <name> | Create the GitHub App via the manifest flow | | app update <name> | Sync repos (from agents.yaml) to the App installation | | community join <name> | Enroll the agent's pubkey on the relay | | community leave <name> | Remove the agent's relay membership | | profile publish <name> | Publish the agent's Nostr profile |

npx buzz-team@latest id delete <name>

Uninstalls the agent's GitHub App installation, removes its relay membership, and deletes its local credential file.

npx buzz-team@latest workspace create <name>

Provisions a running workspace for the agent (coder or docker-compose backend, per agents.yaml) and pushes its persona (AGENTS.md/SOUL.md). Requires id create <name> to have run first.

npx buzz-team@latest workspace update <name> [--soul-only]

Updates the agent's workspace and re-pushes its persona. --soul-only skips the backend update and only re-pushes the persona files.

npx buzz-team@latest workspace delete <name>

Tears down the agent's workspace.

npx buzz-team@latest workspace soul push <name>

Pushes AGENTS.md/SOUL.md into a running workspace and restarts buzz-acp.

npx buzz-team@latest auth <name>

Runs the interactive provider auth flow (e.g. goose configure) inside the agent's running workspace container.

Requirements

  • Node.js >= 22
  • gh CLI authenticated (for GitHub App operations)
  • SSH access to the Buzz relay host

See the buzz-team repository for full documentation.
