A small, growing family of components and utilities. Early stage — this is the first real utility, more will follow.

Install

npm install caramels

Usage

import { caramelize } from "caramels";

caramelize("#3366cc"); // shifted halfway toward brown
caramelize("#3366cc", 1); // fully brown

caramelize(color: string, amount = 0.5): string shifts a hex color toward brown. amount is clamped to 0–1, where 0 returns the input color unchanged and 1 returns pure brown.
