Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

about-me-CLI

An npm package created with npm to print out my social links in the command-line. This is a small project created for personal gratification, meaning I added placeholder links to make the whole thing look good. They are actual profiles but they are deprecated, so do not expect to get a reply on Discord because I have forgotten the password.

Usage

Make sure you have installed node and npm on your system. In the command line, run npx charcoalst1cks. Whoop, that's it! The rendered text in the terminal is a bit woozy if you resize the window but never fear, just run the npx charcoalst1cks command again to get the new fit.
