Check-osaurus

Tool that checks project to find unused dependencies. It will aoutput the number of times that a dependencie is used in files and how many times it's used in total. It can be seen as a helper to know which dependencies are less used to reduce the amount of work for developers.

Installation

npm install check-osaurus

Requisites

• You should have installed ripgrep in your environment first. This is required to be working on your bash in order to analyse the root folder.

Usage

In order to work on your project:

1. Install check-osaurus as a local dependency.
2. Create a file in your repo to provide the arguments.

const ignoreFiles = ['package.json', 'node_modules', 'yarn.lock', '.git'];

check(2, ignoreFiles);

Optional parameters

• Number of appearances. Default: 2.
• IgnoreFiles is an array of files that won't be search. Default: [".git", "yarn.lock", "package-lock.json"].
