Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Introduction

The Chhap Module is a versatile logging utility for Node.js applications. It provides an easy-to-use interface for logging messages at different levels and provide supports to easily reach to your code.

  • Multiple Log Levels: Supports different log levels including DEBUG, INFO, WARNING, ERROR, and FATAL.
  • Customizable Formatting: Easily customize the format of log messages.
  • Middleware Support: Compatible with popular frameworks like Express for request/response logging.

Installation

$ npm install chhap

Usage

const _chhap = require('chhap');
_chhap.debug(message, priority, support);
_chhap.info(message, priority, support);
_chhap.warn(message, priority, support);
_chhap.error(message, priority, support);
_chhap.fatal(message, priority, support);

Options:

  • message: Specify the message for the log.
  • priority: Provide a priority of log level (like low, normal, high etc...).
  • support: Provide a support for the easy api reach (like api route, method etc...) .

Configuration

No additional configuration is required. However, you need it require them and use it.

Please make sure to provide all the options for the every log level to maintain your development as well as production logs.
