Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

An official Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Ciphertron, enabling AI assistants (like Claude, Cursor, and others) to interact with Ciphertron's quantum risk analysis and cryptographic scanning capabilities.

Capabilities

This server provides the following tools:

  • scan_repository: Start a cryptographic and quantum risk analysis of a public GitHub repository.
  • get_cbom: Retrieve the Cryptographic Bill of Materials (CBOM) for a completed scan.
  • explain_finding: Get detailed quantum-risk explanations and mitigation suggestions for specific cryptographic findings.
  • suggest_migration: Generate suggested code changes to migrate vulnerability findings to post-quantum cryptography standards.

Usage with Claude Desktop

To use this with Claude Desktop, add the following to your claude_desktop_config.json:

Security

This package operates entirely locally and communicates directly with the Ciphertron API. Your API key is passed securely via environment variables and is never exposed or logged.
