Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Claude Code skills para investigar Kubernetes (AWS EKS): overview de namespace/cuenta, detalle de pod y logs (estáticos o en vivo).

Readme

claude-k8s-skills

Skills for Claude Code that investigate Kubernetes (AWS EKS, or any cluster reachable via kubectl) without having to remember contexts or which cluster a namespace lives in. Ships 3 skills:

  • k8s-investigate — full overview of a namespace / AWS account (workloads, services, ingress, config and all pods including stopped/failed ones).
  • k8s-pod — readable detail of a pod (state, image, restarts, events).
  • k8s-logs — static logs or live (watch / -f).

Install

npx claude-k8s-skills

or globally:

npm install -g claude-k8s-skills

Both copy the skills into ~/.claude/skills/. Restart Claude Code (or /reload).

The installer shows an animated onboarding: a banner reveal, a step-by-step install, a kubectl access check listing your cluster contexts, and a "you're all set" card with next steps. On non-interactive shells (CI, npm postinstall) it falls back to plain output.

Plain output: npx claude-k8s-skills --no-anim Uninstall: npx claude-k8s-skills --uninstall

Use

In Claude Code, natural language or slash:

/k8s-investigate
"check the kubernetes in <namespace>"
"status of <environment>"
"pod detail for <service> in <namespace>"
"live logs for <service> in <namespace>"

Or the script directly:

S=~/.claude/skills/k8s-investigate/scripts/k8s-investigate.sh
$S <namespace> # overview
$S <namespace> pod <service> # pod detail
$S <namespace> logs deploy/<service> # logs
$S <namespace> watch deploy/<service> # live logs

Requirements

  • Node ≥ 16.7 (install only).
  • kubectl configured with access to your clusters.

How it works

The package contains no credentials: the skills use the kubectl and AWS contexts on your machine. The installer only copies files into ~/.claude/skills/.
