clipatra
Drive Clipatra from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP client, in plain English. One package for both sides of the marketplace:
- Brands run performance-based creator campaigns.
- Creators onboard, join campaigns, submit videos, and track earnings.
Your API key decides which side you are: a brand key unlocks every workspace owned by that account, while a creator key unlocks the creator tools.
What is Clipatra
Performance-based creator marketing, not paid ads. A brand can run an open campaign or bid from its funded wallet on a creator's direct sponsorship package. Creators publish organic posts to their own audiences and get paid through the campaign workflow. There are no ad placements or targeting pixels.
Fastest start (no key copy-paste)
npx clipatra startPrints a browser link; sign in with Google and approve. The CLI receives your
API key and auto-configures every MCP client you have installed (Claude
Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code). Works for brands and
creators. Finish setup with the onboard command it prints.
Run
startdirectly; don't register it as a server.startis one-time interactive onboarding, not the MCP server. Do not doclaude mcp add clipatra -- npx clipatra start, which blocks on browser approval and never connects.startauto-writes the correct server entry (which runsclipatra serve) for you. Wiring a server by hand? Useserve, neverstart.
For creators
1. Sign in and connect your agent. One keyless command (no key to copy):
npx clipatra startIt opens a browser sign-in, saves your key locally (~/.clipatra), and
auto-configures your MCP clients (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf,
VS Code).
2. Connect a social account. Add TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or X by public
handle. No key is needed; it reads the one start saved:
npx clipatra onboardnpx clipatra onboard --platform tiktok --handle @yournameThat returns a caption code to put in your first campaign video's caption (verification is automatic when you submit the link). You can then browse, join campaigns, submit videos, and earn without setting up payouts.
Payout setup is optional until you withdraw earnings. When you are ready, run
npx clipatra onboard --country US with the legal registration country for
Stripe or destination bank country for Wise. Secure payout setup opens in your
browser; bank details never pass through the CLI or your agent. Re-run the
command to resume, or add --wait when running it directly in a terminal.
3. Ask your agent, for example:
- "Browse open campaigns and join the ones that fit me."
- "Submit this video for that campaign: "
- "How much have I earned so far?"

For brands
1. Sign in and connect your agent. One keyless command (no key to copy):
npx clipatra startIt opens a browser sign-in, saves your key locally, and auto-configures every MCP client you have installed (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code).
2. Finish account setup. This saves your brand profile and adds a card on file.
No key needed; it reads the one start saved:
npx clipatra onboard --name "Your Brand" --website "yourbrand.com"Optional flags: --description "…", --category "…", --blocked "alcohol, gambling".
It prints a Stripe link for the card (no charge), then exits. Save the card in
the browser and re-run npx clipatra onboard to confirm. The same onboard
command works for both key types; it detects which side you're on.
Restart your client if needed, then ask your agent, for example:
- "Create a TikTok campaign with a $5 fee and a $500 budget, then activate it."
- "How are my live campaigns performing?"

Multiple brand workspaces
One account, MCP connection, and API key can manage multiple brands. In the
local CLI/MCP, select one with workspace use. Hosted agents pass a workspace
ID per call, so different agents can safely work in different brands at once.
No reconnect or extra key is needed.
npx clipatra workspace list
npx clipatra workspace use "Outrank"
npx clipatra campaign move <id> --workspace "Outrank"Only untouched drafts can move; campaigns with assets, creator activity, or payment activity stay in their current workspace.
Drive it from the terminal (no MCP client needed)
The CLI isn't just onboarding. It can run the whole flow, so you (or an agent
over a shell) can manage campaigns without any MCP client loaded. It uses the
key start saved locally. Money flags are in dollars.

Connect options (rarely needed)
start already connects every detected client. To (re)configure manually, with no
key needed since it uses the one start saved:
npx clipatra connect --client cursor # configure only one client
npx clipatra connect --print # print a snippet (e.g. ChatGPT Desktop)Manual config
connect writes a clipatra entry into your client config. To wire one by hand:
