Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Before this, Clone Hero had around 30 songs. It now has over 60. You can see the full list of the current tracks over at Paradise's official website. Even with such a massive library, there is still an empty bit of space that can be made perfect. Paradise dreams of a game with a collection of over 1000+ songs. But even now, players are making custom set lists of their own, and Paradise is planning to implement a custom set list creator.

The team has also committed themselves to making this game open source. Clone Hero v0.5 was released only months ago, and it already required you to pay for a license to play the game. Clone Hero has moved on from the old system, but unfortunately this means there is no official Windows Store version of Clone Hero. There is, however, a fork of the Windows Store version developed by the same individuals.

He says he had to learn all he knew about the game because he couldn't do anything other than what the community did on Rocksmith. Guitar Hero 3 is a virtual instrument and in that form, says Paradise, it's the most complex standalone music creation app that people have ever used. For this reason, he felt that there wasn't much worth him doing in terms of creativity or adding new features.

You can see why the Guitar Hero art assets in Clone Hero stick out though. Regardless of the limitations of the default set lists, Paradise says, Guitar Hero III was still one of the first games to have a rock-themed set list, which inspired how it approached in its music creation aspect. There were also many new tools for players to create their own set lists, and it has always just been one of the best music creation apps to make. 84d34552a1
