Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

cloud-id

cloud-id is a simple CLI utility to lookup cloud providers. It currently supports Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure. PRs welcome.

cloud-id downloads the latest IP ranges from Amazon, Google and Microsoft. This data is not cached locally, so batch looks (via the file command) are more efficient.

Installation:

npm install -g cloud-id

Usage:

cloud-id <command>

Commands:
  cloud-id file <filename>  lookup hosts in specified file
  cloud-id host <hostname>  lookup specified hostname

Options:
  --help     Show help
  --json     Formats output as json
  --csv      Formats the output as CSV
  --human    Format the output for human reading (tabs)
  --version  Show version number
