Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

"What should I write this week?"

Ask your AI that, and Content Agents answers from your brand: your voice, your audience, your library, and the gaps your competitors are filling. It doesn't guess.

Content Agents is an AI editorial platform. It learns your brand once, then plans, writes, enriches, and repurposes content that sounds like you. Every piece lands as a draft in your editor, and nothing goes live until you publish it.

Two ways in

1. Connect your AI app (recommended)

Add one URL and sign in once. You don't need an install or an API key.

https://mcp.contentagents.dev/mcp

| App | How | Guide | |---|---|---| | Claude (desktop and web) | Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector | Setup → | | ChatGPT | Settings → Apps & Connectors → Create | Setup → | | Claude Code | claude mcp add --transport http content-agents https://mcp.contentagents.dev/mcp | Setup → | | Cursor | One-click install | Setup → | | Windsurf | Cascade → MCP → Add server | Setup → | | VS Code + Cline | MCP Servers → Remote Servers | Setup → |

2. Use this CLI (scripts, CI, and terminals)

npm install -g content-agents
agents auth --key <your-api-key>
agents context

To get a key, open contentagents.dev → Settings → MCP → Generate a key for a script or CI pipeline.

Then just ask

"Write an article about onboarding churn in our brand voice."

"Turn my latest article into LinkedIn and X posts."

"Which of my articles need a refresh?"

"Where do AI answers mention competitors and skip us?"

What you get

  • It knows your brand. Voice, audience, terminology, and your full library load before it writes a word.
  • It plans with evidence. It finds content gaps, keyword opportunities, and prompts where AI assistants leave you out.
  • It writes finished pieces. Articles come with images, internal links, and the structures your brand saved.
  • It repurposes. Social posts, newsletters, and comparison pages come from what you've already published.
  • You stay in control. Everything is a draft, and you decide what ships.
  • One login covers every brand. If you manage several brands, switch between them mid-conversation.
