Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Vite-style starter for Marwes UI. Scaffolds a fresh React, Vue, or Svelte app with Marwes preinstalled, wired up, and ready to render.

create-marwes

Create a new Marwes app in one command.

React • Vue • Svelte • TypeScript-first • Default Marwes CSS • Ready to run

marwes.io — official site, theme builder, and install guides GitHubCLI package

Quick Start

Pick the package manager you already use — they all work:

pnpm create marwes@latest my-app --template react-ts
npm create marwes@latest my-app -- --template react-ts
yarn create marwes my-app --template react-ts
bun create marwes my-app --template react-ts

Supported templates:

| Template | Framework | | ------------ | --------- | | react-ts | React 18+ (TypeScript) | | vue-ts | Vue 3.4+ (TypeScript) | | svelte-ts | Svelte 5 (TypeScript) |

What You Get

create-marwes delegates base app scaffolding to Vite, then runs the Marwes CLI init flow for the selected adapter. The result:

  • A fresh Vite starter (my-app/) with TypeScript, React/Vue/Svelte, and dev tooling wired up.
  • The matching Marwes adapter package installed (@marwes-ui/react, @marwes-ui/vue, or @marwes-ui/svelte) with its peer dependencies.
  • Your app root wrapped in MarwesProvider, so default Marwes styling is active on first render.
  • No extra CSS setup — the adapter loads the preset stylesheet automatically.

Next Steps

After scaffold:

cd my-app
pnpm install # if you passed --no-install
pnpm dev

Start building with Marwes components. See the adapter README on npm (@marwes-ui/react, @marwes-ui/vue, or @marwes-ui/svelte) for the full component list and theming guide.

For the theme builder, brand-token customization, and full setup guides, visit marwes.io.

Options

| Flag | Purpose | | ----------------- | ------- | | --template | One of react-ts, vue-ts, svelte-ts (required). | | --pm | Force a package manager: pnpm, npm, yarn, or bun. | | --no-install | Skip dependency install after scaffolding. | | --dry-run | Print planned actions without writing to disk. |

Existing App?

Already have a Vite app? Use the Marwes CLI directly instead:

pnpm dlx @marwes-ui/cli init --adapter react

See @marwes-ui/cli for the full command reference.
