Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Quickstart (GitHub Template)

  1. Run npx setup-npm-trusted-publish my-cool-package to reserve the package name and allow trusted publishing.
  2. Click the "Use this template" button.
  3. Replace GITHUB_USER and REPO_NAME using sed:

  1. Install GitHub Apps, pre-commit.ci lite and Codecov.
  2. Install pre-commit using uv by uv tool install pre-commit and install hooks by pre-commit install.
  3. Enable Github Pages and set Source to GitHub Actions from Settings/Pages/Build and deployment
  4. Remove everything above ---.

Inspired by node-module-boilerplate and typescript-npm-package-template, which is great but unnecessarily complex and poorly maintained.
