Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Project boilerplate generator

A lightweight project boilerplate generator for multiple ecosystems.

Create production-ready TypeScript and PHP project templates with a single command.

Currently supported:

  • ⚡ Node.js + Fastify (TypeScript)
  • 🚀 Node.js + Express (TypeScript)
  • 🐘 PHP 7.0+ + Snappy Framework

Requirements

Depending on the selected template:

Node.js (TypeScript)

  • Git
  • Node.js
  • npm

Templates are built with TypeScript and come pre-configured with the required tooling.

PHP (Snappy Framework)

  • Git
  • PHP 7.0 or later
  • Composer

Snappy Framework supports PHP 7.0+.

Create a Fastify or Express project

What the generator does

  • Downloads the selected project template from GitHub
  • Renames the project/package
  • Creates .env.development from .env.example (if available)
  • Installs project dependencies automatically
  • Generates a project that is ready to run immediately
