Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

create-sepiace

v0.1.4

Published

Connect sepiace, long-term memory for coding agents, to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, and OpenCode.

Readme

create-sepiace

Connect sepiace, long-term memory for coding agents, to the clients on your machine.

English

Tip: Run it again at any time. Clients that are already connected are left as they are.

Quick start

npm create sepiace

It finds Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, and OpenCode on your machine, asks which ones should use sepiace, connects them, and walks you through signing in. Then it shows how to move the memories your agent already has into sepiace.

Technology

It edits each client's config as JSON with comments, so your comments, key order, and other servers are kept. Each file is written in one step, so a failed run never leaves it half-written, and a file it cannot read is left untouched. If a server called sepiace already exists with a different address, it asks before replacing it, and hides any key in the old address when it shows it to you.

Claude Code and Codex get the sepiace plugin. Cursor, VS Code, and OpenCode have no plugins, so it places the same skills in each client's own skill folder, named sepiace-memory, sepiace-migrate, and sepiace-update so they do not clash with yours.

Specification

| Client | What it does | | --- | --- | | Claude Code | Installs the sepiace plugin from osaxyz/sepiace | | Codex | Installs the sepiace plugin from osaxyz/sepiace | | Cursor | Adds sepiace to ~/.cursor/mcp.json and the skills to ~/.cursor/skills | | VS Code | Adds sepiace to the user mcp.json and the skills to ~/.copilot/skills | | OpenCode | Adds sepiace to ~/.config/opencode/opencode.json and the skills to ~/.config/opencode/skills | | Claude Desktop and claude.ai | Shows how to add sepiace as a custom connector |

Pass options after --, for example npm create sepiace -- --client cursor, opencode.

| Option | What it does | | --- | --- | | --client <ids> | Comma-separated: claude-code, codex, cursor, vscode, opencode, claude-desktop | | -y, --yes | Does not ask. Connects the clients found on this machine, keeps existing entries, and skips signing in | | -v, --version | Shows the version | | -h, --help | Shows the help |

npm create sepiace
