Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Install, update and look after a self-hosted Crewaid server.

npx crewaid-selfhost init                 # or: curl -fsSL https://downloads.crewaid.io/install.sh | sh
npx crewaid-selfhost update               # move to a newer release (keeps your keys)
npx crewaid-selfhost status
npx crewaid-selfhost reset-password [email protected]

init checks Docker, asks how the server will be reached — this computer, your local network, or a domain with HTTPS — generates every secret, writes compose.yml and .env to ~/crewaid (--dir to change), starts the server and tells you what to type into the Crewaid Self-Hosted app (macOS, Windows).

Needs Docker Desktop (macOS, Windows) or Docker Engine with Compose v2 (Linux). crewaid-selfhost --help lists every option.
