Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Into this “cartel” we bring you the presence of three rival pirates: the Cobra, the Phoenix and the Cobra. The Cobra, a pirate known to us under the name of Pexa or a, has identified the damage caused by my VLC player being able to read most libs, and has been working on a library (try using mplayer's sub-options to force VLC to play the videos as mpeg-4, for example). The Phoenix, known to us as MIRROR, is another pirate that we know mainly from his video tutorials online and through the forums. The Cobra, with a bunch of code trickling online, has been working on his own VLC player and a home-brew GUI that enables the user to select the supported lib on the fly.

The Phoenix has been working on making the VLC player compatible with a script that enables the user to select the game, using the keyboard. The Cobra has been working on the GUI and has been trying to make a chameleon type of ‘cheat’ VLC. The Cobra is the man who is responsible for the exploit of Counter-Strike Global Offensive Videocd, you may have noticed that it just got a new release in XBox Live. He is also responsible of the exploit of the Windows Live Media Player, which lets him to have full access to the player's inner workings and makes it possible to stream the videos from his home server.

The Cobra has been providing the Phoenix the necessary information, Pexa has been implementing the Cobra's code on the Phoenix's home server and uploading the VLC player to the Phoenix's website. Cobra has found out that Pexa is the man behind the VLC player, and they have realized that he’s using codes written by Cobra. For this reason, Cobra will work with the Phoenix to restore the codes that are missing in the Phoenix's VLC player and will work to implement the VLC interface on his home server. Cobra will create a configuration file that will be stored at the Phoenix's server, which includes codes that Cobra considers essential for the Phoenix to work. Finally, Cobra will write a shell script for the Phoenix in order to launch the Phoenix with the necessary codes. 84d34552a1
