Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Overview

Introducing 'cuery' pronounced as query: The CLI magician that effortlessly writes, lists, and runs code with a dash of command-line wizardry. Simplify your tasks, write text to files, explore directories, and run code with ease, all in one compact tool.

Requirements

  • You must have node installed

Install

npm i -g cuery_js
  • This globally installs the package.

How to use

  • To use the cuery CLI tool, simply run the following command:
cry <command> [options]
  • Yes cry, I do every night
  • The command argument specifies the task that you want to perform. The options arguments are used to configure the command.

Examples

Here are some examples of how to use the cry CLI tool:

cry list -c
  • This returns all the files in the current directory
cry run test.dart
  • Runs code
cry run next-create
  • Create next app
cry run next-dev
  • Run next app in localhost
cry run next-build
  • Build next app
cry run serve
  • Serves HTML files to localhost
cry write --fp=test.txt -t="Please append" -a
  • Append text to file
