Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Generate 100% human-realistic Mouse Trajectories with Timings.

Installation

npm install cursory

Basic Usage

import { generateTrajectory, Point } from 'cursory';

const targetStart: Point = [100, 100];
const targetEnd: Point = [500, 500];

const { points, timings } = generateTrajectory(targetStart, targetEnd);

console.log('Points:', points);
console.log('Timings:', timings);

API

generateTrajectory(targetStart, targetEnd, frequency?, frequencyRandomizer?)

Generate a realistic mouse trajectory from start to end points.

Parameters:

  • targetStart: Point - Starting point of the trajectory
  • targetEnd: Point - Ending point of the trajectory
  • frequency?: number - Number of samples per second (hz). Defaults to 60
  • frequencyRandomizer?: number - Max jitter in ms to apply to each sample time. Defaults to 1

Returns:

  timings: number[]; // List of timings (in ms) corresponding to each point
}
