Installation

npm install -g devkits-csv-json

Or use without installation:

npx devkits-csv-json [args]

Usage

# CSV to JSON
dk-csv -j "name,age\nJohn,30\nJane,25"

# JSON to CSV
dk-csv -c '[{"name":"John","age":30}]'

# From stdin (auto-detects format)
cat data.csv | dk-csv
cat data.json | dk-csv

# Custom delimiter
dk-csv -j "name;age\nJohn;30" -d ";"

# Pretty print JSON
dk-csv -j "name,age\nJohn,30" --pretty

Output Examples

CSV to JSON

$ dk-csv -j "name,age\nJohn,30\nJane,25"

[{"name":"John","age":30},{"name":"Jane","age":25}]

JSON to CSV

$ dk-csv -c '[{"name":"John","age":30}]'

name,age
John,30

Pretty JSON

$ dk-csv -j "name,age\nJohn,30" --pretty
