Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

A simple NPM Package which returns dinvishesh (On This Day in History). Get your daily dinvishesh and increase knowledge!

Installation

This is a Node.js module available through the npm registry.

Before installing, download and install Node.js.

Installation is done using the npm install command:

$ npm install --save dinvishesh

Usage

  • dinVisheshToday() method returns an object containing janm, mrutyu and ghatana of current Date like new Date().

  • dinVishesh(category, month, day) method take three parameter, which are optional.
    • category - janm | mrutyu | ghatana (Default to janm)
    • month - any month in lowercase e.g. january in string format
    • day - any valid date related to month e.g. 11 in string format, it reurn array of string.

Examples

To view the examples, clone the dinvishesh repo and install the dependencies:

$ git clone https://github.com/vinodnimbalkar/dinvishesh.git
$ cd example
$ npm install

Then run the demo.js:

$ node demo.js
