Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Directus Custom Image Preview Extension

A Directus extension that allows you to display customizable image previews.

Features

  • Display as circle
  • Preserve aspect ratio
  • Display checker background for transparent images

Installation

Install the extension from the Directus Marketplace. See the Official Guide for more information.

Or if you prefer to install manually:

npm install directus-extension-custom-image-preview

Usage

Select the "Image Preview" display in the "Display" section of the field settings.

Options

  • Preserve aspect ratio: Preserves the aspect ratio of the image (cannot be used together with "Display as circle").
  • Display checker background: Displays a checker background behind the image, useful for transparent images.
  • Display as circle: Displays the image as a circle (cannot be used together with "Preserve aspect ratio").

Development

Install dependencies

$ npm install --legacy-peer-deps

Run the extension

$ npm run dev
