Discogs Next.js This project uses Next.js to showcase your Discogs record collection.
Read the article https://www.alexrabin.com/blog/itunes-search-am-player.
This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.
Getting Started
First your going to need a Discogs token to add to the .env.local file. You can use the Discogs API without a token but if you want to be able to get album art in your payload you will have to have an access token. Log into your account and navigate to the Discogs Developer Settings at https://www.discogs.com/settings/developers. Once you are logged in, create a new application and generate a User token. For this example you won't need a Consumer Key or Consumer Secret. Once you have your token, create a new file in the root of your project called .env.local and add this environment variable: DISCOG_TOKEN=XXXXXXXXXXXX Replace the X's with your token.
Second, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun devThird, open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.ts.
The pages/api directory is mapped to /api/*.
Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.
This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Geist, a new font family for Vercel.
