Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Disify MCP

Email validation from the public Disify API. No key required.

This file is self contained. It reads public data only and never writes to the machine. All output is bounded and honest about what could not be fetched.

Tools

  • check Validate an email address: format, disposable domain, DNS records.
  • check_domain Validate an email domain: disposable, free provider, whitelist and DNS status.
  • check_bulk Validate up to 10 email addresses in one call and count how many are disposable.
  • mx_records List the MX mail hosts for a domain, useful for checking whether a mailbox can receive mail.
  • dns_lookup Resolve live DNS records for a domain — A, AAAA, MX, NS, TXT, CNAME, SOA, CAA, PTR or SRV — via public DNS-over-HTTPS.
  • domain_summary One report on a domain: disposable verdict plus live A, NS and MX records, so you can tell whether signups from it are trustworthy.
  • dnssec_check Check whether a domain is DNSSEC signed: validating-resolver AD flag, DNSKEY records and the parent DS.
  • email_auth SPF, DMARC, DKIM and MX for a domain, so you can tell whether its mail can be spoofed.
  • lookalike_domains Test typo, homoglyph and alternative-TLD variants of a domain and report which ones resolve.

Usage

npm install
npm run build
node dist/index.js
