Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

docmost-sdk

v1.0.0

Published

TypeScript/JavaScript client for the Docmost REST API. Supports API token (Bearer) and email/password (cookie) authentication.

Readme

@docmost/sdk

TypeScript/JavaScript client for the Docmost REST API — same surface as the .NET and Python clients.

npm: @docmost/sdk · current release 1.0.0 (publish with npm publish)

Installation

npm install @docmost/sdk

Requires Node.js 18+.

Quick start

API token (Bearer)

import { DocmostClient, parseDataAs } from '@docmost/sdk';
import type { User } from '@docmost/sdk';

const client = new DocmostClient({
  baseUrl: 'https://docs.example.com',
  apiToken: 'your-api-key',
});

const me = await client.users.getUserInfo();
const user = parseDataAs<User>(me);

Email and password (cookie session)

import { DocmostClient } from '@docmost/sdk';
import { PaginationOptions } from '@docmost/sdk';

const client = await DocmostClient.create({
  baseUrl: 'https://docs.example.com',
  email: '[email protected]',
  password: 'secret',
});

const spaces = await client.spaces.getWorkspaceSpaces({ limit: 20 } as PaginationOptions);

Shorthand constructor

const client = new DocmostClient('https://docs.example.com', 'your-api-key');

API surface

DocmostClient exposes grouped APIs (camelCase), matching OpenAPI tags:

| Property | Description | |----------|-------------| | auth | Login, logout, password reset, setup | | users | Current user profile | | workspace | Workspace settings, members, invites | | spaces | Spaces and membership | | pages | Pages, history, tree | | comments | Page comments | | attachments | Uploads and file downloads | | search | Full-text search | | shares | Public sharing | | groups | User groups | | export / importApi | Export and import | | health / version | Health and version | | apiKeys, mfa, license, sso, ai, cloud | Enterprise features |

Methods return Promise<ApiResponse<unknown>>. Use parseDataAs<T>() for typed data.

Authentication

| Mode | Usage | |------|--------| | API token | { apiToken: '...' } | | Cookie session | { email, password } + await DocmostClient.create(...) or await client.login() |

Do not pass both apiToken and email/password.

Development

cd typescript
npm install
python3 scripts/generate_sdk.py   # from repo root: python3 typescript/scripts/generate_sdk.py
npm run build

Publishing to npm

cd typescript
# bump version in package.json
