Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

The DOM-free document model and file API, re-exported from the canonical OOXML core.

The framework-neutral DOCX document model, parser and preserving serializer. A thin entry point: docx-core re-exports ooxml-core/docx and docx-core/embedded re-exports ooxml-core/docx/embedded; the logic lives in ooxml-core.

Install

Quick start

import { createDocument, loadDocx, saveDocx } from 'docx-core';

const model = createDocument();
const bytes = await saveDocx(model);
const loaded = await loadDocx(bytes);

API and limitations

It handles modern .docx only. To open legacy .doc files use one of the editor packages (docx-react-viewer, -vue-viewer, -angular-viewer, -svelte-viewer, -solid-viewer, -vanilla-viewer), whose loadDocument detects both formats. Saving is not lossless for unsupported features.
