Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

A lightweight utility package for parsing and managing file uploads in drop zones. Simplifies handling complex file uploads, directory traversal, and file system organization using the HTML5 File System API.

constructDirectoryNodeList(items, rootId)

Creates a directory tree from dropped files.

  • items: FileList or DataTransferItemList
  • rootId: String identifier for root directory
  • Returns: Promise

DirectoryNode Properties

  • name: File/directory name
  • isFile: Boolean
  • id: Unique identifier
  • parent: Parent node reference
  • size: Size in bytes
  • children: Child nodes (directories only)
  • fileCount: Number of files in branch
  • file: File object (files only)

DirectoryTree Properties

  • root: Root node
  • fileCount: Total files
  • getFiles(): Returns all files
