Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Distributed tracing for DeepSeek Harness agent sessions, OpenTelemetry-aligned

A DeepSeek Harness (dsh) plugin.

Why

Agent 会话的调用链追踪，对齐 OpenTelemetry 语义。把一次会话的 Turn/Step/工具调用映射为 trace/span，接入既有可观测体系。

What works in 0.0.1

This is a working plugin, not a name reservation:

  • trace_span_record 工具：记录一个 span（名称、耗时、状态）到本地 JSONL，返回累计统计。可作为 0.1.x OTLP 导出的数据底座。

Install it and ask the agent to call the tool — the loop (tool registration, schema validation, model invocation, structured output) is fully exercised.

Roadmap

  • 0.1.x — 会话 → trace、Step → span 的映射导出（OTLP）
  • 0.2.x — 子代理（subagent）拓扑：父子 span 与团队编排视图
  • 0.3.x — 采样与开销控制：长会话的低成本追踪策略

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-telemetry

DeepSeek Harness is in developer preview and states that compatibility-breaking changes will happen. This build was developed and tested against @deepseek-ai/dsh 0.1.0-rc.x (August 2026); re-verify against your host version before relying on it.
