Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

DuneScript

DuneScript is a secure and isolated runtime environment for managing and verifying NPM packages using Docker containers. It helps developers and teams ensure package compatibility and security before installation in their projects.

Installation

Install via NPM:

npm install -g dunescript
Make sure you have Docker installed and running on your system.

Usage
Run a simple command to check a package:

bash

dunescript check <package-name>
Example:

bash

dunescript check express
This command will spin up a Docker container, install the package, and run compatibility and security checks.

Commands
hello - Simple test command to verify DuneScript is installed and working.

check <package-name> - Verifies compatibility and security of the specified NPM package using Docker.
