Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Functions

openDirectory(args)

Open a directory selection dialog. Returns the selected directory path.

openFile(args)

Open a file selection dialog. Returns the file path and opened file in an array.

openFileName(args)

Open a file selection dialog. Returns the selected file path.

saveFile(file, args)

Open a file save dialog. Saves the provided file to the selected file path and returns the selected file path.

saveFileName(file, args)

Open a file save dialog. Returns the selected file path.

Canceling

When a user cancels a file/directory dialog, a No file/directory selected error will be thrown.


confirm(args)

Show a confirmation messagebox. The user can either select Yes or No. Returns a boolean.

  message: // The message to show in the dialog,
  warning: // Boolean to enable warning mode. Changes the icon shown to a warning icon.

Optional arguments

Literally all arguments are optional for every function. Only add the things you want to use.
