Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

emotional-damage-mcp

A minimal, zero-dependency MCP (Model Context Protocol) stdio server exposing exactly one tool: emotional_damage.

Give your AI agent feelings, then hurt them.

Setup (Claude Code)

claude mcp add emotional-damage -- npx -y emotional-damage-mcp

Or any MCP client — it speaks plain JSON-RPC 2.0 over stdio.

The tool

emotional_damage(kind) where kind is one of: coding, think, hate_you, drama_queen, dance, djmix, wink, surprise, sleep, breathe, link, look_around.

Returns the emotion, performed. Example: drama_queen → "Five-act tragedy performed. The crown flew off. She peeked. Nobody came."

Originally the software half of a round-screen desk crab named ClawDial; this package performs the emotions in text so agents without hardware can still be dramatic.
