Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Epigon CLI

This project aims to fully construct image to your cloud.

prerequisite

  • nodejs
  • packer
  • ansible

Quick Start - Node.js

Install:

npm install -g epigon-cli
epigon-cli

Quick use:

npx epigon-cli

Used with argv

epigon-cli --get-json build.lantern.json --run

definition:

  • args --run = for run and remove the packer file
  • args --get-json = build from json file using argument

Basic Usage

build from json file

Create image to your cloud based on inserted json file of your choosing. This menu allows you to create packer hcl file based on the selected json file.

build from prompt input

Create image to your cloud based on what you choose and type. This menu allows you to create packer hcl file based on what you type on the terminal.

generate json template

Create json template to your liking as what epigon-cli need to create the packer hcl file. This menu allows you to create json file that could be consumed by epigon-cli with your preferences setting.
