exzcli

CLI (Node.js + commander) to manage Experiment-Zone workspace docs — todo.md, <YYYY-MM>-done.md, <YYYY-MM>-work-log.md, projects, and lessons.

Guided-form model: the CLI auto-retrieves system fields (date, device, workspace root, project list) and only asks the agent for authored content. Format + convention are enforced by the CLI, not by the agent.

Install

• Node v18+, npm
• npm install (installs commander)
• npm link (register global exzcli command; npm global dir is already in PATH)

Usage

exzcli --help          # self-documenting command tree
exzcli --root          # print workspace root

• exzcli todo add <task> [--section <h>] / complete / remove / list
• exzcli done add <task> --from-todo [--goal] [--result] [--verification]
• exzcli log add --done <text> --next <text> [--notes]
• exzcli project init --name <kebab> [--desc] / list / status [--set]
• exzcli lesson add --title <t> [--tags] [--context] ... / lesson list
• exzcli archive month [--project] / archive all

All project ops accept --project <name> (kebab-case); without it the CLI lists projects and prompts the agent to pick. Never hand-edit these files — the CLI owns the format, timestamps, and device detection.

Interactive menu (optional)

workspace.ps1 / workspace.bat — arrow-key project picker + actions. Double-click workspace.bat for the menu; workspace.bat <cmd> for direct mode.

Config

• Workspace root: WORKSPACE_ROOT env, fallback P:\Experiment-Zone
• Device: COMPUTERNAME (auto)
• Tests: npm test
