Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

fight-boredom

  • 📟 Find something to do from your command line. A CLI for the Bored API.

Install

# Recommended.
npx fight-boredom

# OR an alternative global install.
npm install -g fight-boredom

Usage

  1. Run the CLI using:
npx fight-boredom

# OR for global install
fight-boredom
# OR alias for global install
ncli

BASIC USAGE

fight-boredom <command> [option]

COMMANDS

help  Print help info

OPTIONS

    --type           Find a random activity with a given type
                     Possible values: [ "education", "recreational", "social", "charity",
                                        "diy", "cooking", "relaxation", "music", "busywork" ]
    --participants   Find something with a given number of participants
                     Possible values: [0, n]             
    --price          Find an activity with a specified price
                     Possible values: [0.0, 1.0]
    --accessibility  Find something with a specified accessibility factor
                     Possible values: [0.0, 1.0]
-c, --clear          Clear the console
-d, --debug          Print debug info
-v, --version        Print CLI version
