Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

MCP server for Figma Config 2026 — query sessions, speakers, and agenda from any MCP-compatible AI client

Readme

figma-config-2026-mcp

MCP server that exposes Figma Config conference data as 5 queryable tools for Claude and other MCP-compatible clients. Runs in two modes: local stdio (npm) and hosted HTTP (Vercel).

npm

Pendingfigma-config-2026-mcp is awaiting npm approval. Use the Vercel remote URL in the meantime: https://figma-config-llms-txt-mcp.vercel.app/mcp

Once published:

npx figma-config-2026-mcp

Requires Node.js ≥ 18. ESM only.

Source files

| File | Purpose | |---|---| | src/index.ts | stdio entry point — loads data from cache (or scrapes on cold start), starts MCP server | | src/server.ts | MCP Server instance — defines 5 tool schemas, routes tools/call requests | | src/tools.ts | Tool implementations: getAgenda, getSession, getSpeakers, searchSessions, getEventSummary | | api/mcp.ts | Vercel HTTP handler — plain JSON-RPC endpoint, reads pre-committed data/data.json | | data/data.json | Static data snapshot committed for the Vercel deployment |

Two execution modes

stdio (local)npx figma-config-2026-mcp. On cold start, scrapes config.figma.com (~90 seconds) and caches at ~/.cache/figma-config/ for 24 hours. Subsequent starts are instant.

HTTP (Vercel) — Deployed at https://figma-config-llms-txt-mcp.vercel.app/mcp. Serves from pre-committed data/data.json — always instant, no scraping.

Tools

| Tool | Description | |---|---| | get_agenda | Agenda overview or filtered session list (by date / tag / stage) | | get_session | Full session details by UUID or fuzzy title match | | get_speakers | Speaker list, filterable by name or company | | search_sessions | Full-text fuzzy search across titles, descriptions, tags, and speakers | | get_event_summary | High-level event overview for LLM context |

Constraints

  • Node.js ≥ 18 (stdio mode); ESM only
  • stdio cold start: ~90 seconds; subsequent starts instant (24h cache)
  • Vercel mode reads static data/data.json — updating data requires a new commit + deploy
