Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

first100-mcp

v2.5.1

Published

First100 MCP server for AI agents: publish and schedule social posts, find customers, run SEO checks, send outreach.

Readme

first100-mcp

Gives any MCP client the First100 go-to-market tools: brand memory, planning, publishing and scheduling on X, LinkedIn, Threads and Bluesky, the growth loop and reply radar, site audits and Google Search Console, keyword and AI visibility data, blog research and publishing (GitHub, WordPress, Ghost, Webflow or a hosted blog), scheduled workflows, community and business discovery, and cold email through your own mailbox. Set FIRST100_MCP_URL to a domain endpoint (https://firsthundred.app/api/mcp/core, /seo, /autopilot or /outreach) to load only that part.

Get an API key at https://firsthundred.app/dashboard/keys.

Clients that speak HTTP (no install needed)

# Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http first100 https://firsthundred.app/api/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer f100_..."

claude.ai and Claude Desktop: add https://firsthundred.app/api/mcp as a custom connector. ChatGPT (paid plans): Settings → Plugins → Developer mode, then Plugins → plus icon → custom server with the same URL. All sign in through OAuth, no key needed. Codex: codex mcp add first100 --url https://firsthundred.app/api/mcp then codex mcp login first100 (sign-in), or add --bearer-token-env-var FIRST100_API_KEY. Cursor: an MCP entry with the URL and an Authorization header.

Clients that need stdio

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "first100": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "first100-mcp"],
      "env": { "FIRST100_API_KEY": "f100_..." }
    }
  }
}

Works in Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, Zed, Claude Desktop and anything else that launches stdio servers.

Tools

See what your agent can do for a capability overview. Start with the quickstart or client setup guide. Once connected, your MCP client discovers the available tools and their instructions directly from First100.

For agents: start at llms.txt, read the Markdown guide, or load the First100 JSON guide. These describe setup and use; authenticated MCP tool discovery provides the current tool inputs.
