Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Spike Synth (Strike 10k+)

  • List virtual generated spikes (default strike-*): node dist/cli/index.js spikes synth --filter '^strike-' --max 50

  • list-generated-spikes ツールで strike/gen の仮想IDを高速列挙できます。

運用のコツ(重複回避と段階投入)

  • まず dry-run で重複確認: node dist/cli/index.js spikes synth --filter '^strike-' --max 1000
  • 既存ファイルはデフォルトで skip。上書きは基本禁止。どうしても必要なら --overwrite を明示
  • 既存にメタデータだけ連結する場合は --merge-metadata を利用
  • 大量投入は段階的に(例: 500〜1,000件/回)。統計は Materialized: written=..., overwritten=..., skipped=...
  • コマンド例(安全な投入):
    • プレビュー: node dist/cli/index.js spikes generate src/cli/data/strike-batch-XX.json --prefix strike --out-dir src/spikes --merge-metadata --dry-run
