Jigmo is split because one OpenType font cannot contain more than 65,535 glyphs. The three files are coordinated parts of the same typeface release and must all be available for complete coverage.

Usage

For web projects, import the included stylesheet through your bundler:

import "fontpkg-jigmo/index.css";

Use all three internal family names as a fallback chain:

The .ttf files can also be imported or copied directly through a platform's normal font-asset mechanism. Load all three files when complete CJK unified ideograph coverage is required.

U+327C1 verification

Jigmo provides a real outline for 𲟁 (U+327C1), a Unicode 17.0 CJK Unified Ideograph Extension J character:

The two characters are in different binaries only because the Jigmo repertoire is split across coordinated files. They come from the same 2025-09-12 typeface release and use the same em and advance metrics. The upper enclosure and inner component of 席 correspond to the 𲟁 glyph, compressed vertically in 席 to leave room for 巾 below.

Verification

The package includes a dependency-free verifier that checks the exact upstream digests, TrueType tables, glyph counts, units/em, cmap mappings, and non-empty outlines for a representative glyph in each shard, including both 席 and 𲟁:

Source & License

The unchanged font binaries come from the official Jigmo distribution, release 2025-09-12. Jigmo covers the Unicode 17.0 CJK unified ideograph repertoire, including all 4,298 Extension J characters.
