Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Formail Hooks

A lightweight utility for submitting forms to Formail, making form submissions seamless and easy.

Installation

To install the package, run the following command in your project directory:

npm install formail-hooks
# or
yarn add formail-hooks

Usage

import { formailSubmit } from 'formail-hooks';

// Create an instance of FormData
const formData = new FormData();
formData.append('name', 'John Doe');
formData.append('email', '[email protected]');
formData.append('message', 'Hello, this is a test message!');

// Your Formail form ID
const formId = 'your-formail-form-id';

// Submit the form
formailSubmit({ formId, formData })

Parameters

formId: The unique identifier for your Formail form. formData: An instance of FormData containing your form data.

Returns

A Promise that resolves to the Response object from the Fetch API. You can check response.ok to see if the submission was successful.

Error Handling

formailSubmit may throw errors if the submission fails or if an unknown error occurs. Make sure to catch these errors in your app.
