FOUAD AI CLI is a bilingual coding assistant. Gemini Free Tier is the default provider (gemini-3.1-flash-lite); local llama.cpp, Ollama, and explicitly configured endpoints remain available without silent provider fallback. Free-tier prompts may be used by Google to improve its products under the current Gemini terms.

Never commit an API key. Create a fresh key and expose it only to the process:

To return to offline local inference, run fouad setup; after the verified model and llama.cpp runtime are present, select llama-local explicitly.

Main commands include setup, chat, ask, doctor, models, providers, plugins, skills, mcp, config, and sessions. Use fouad --safe-mode to suppress plugins. NO_COLOR=1 fouad disables color.

Optional Supabase sync is configured entirely through environment variables. Run fouad cloud status to verify authentication; see Supabase setup. The publishable key is not a user login token and the service-role key must never be used by this CLI.
