Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

foxd-mcp — crypto trading MCP server (Solana sniper, Pump.fun, honeypot checks)

Give Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, OpenCode, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot or any MCP client a full multi-chain trading desk: token discovery, Solana sniping, honeypot and rug checks, wallet intelligence, copy trading, take-profit/stop-loss orders and multi-launchpad token launching across Solana, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum and HyperEVM.

Each installer writes the block that client actually reads — Codex gets TOML in ~/.codex/config.toml, Windsurf gets serverUrl, VS Code gets servers — and merges into the existing file rather than replacing it. Pass --key fxk_live_… to embed a credential, or set FOXD_API_KEY first and it will be picked up.

Clients without HTTP transport spawn npx -y foxd-mcp, which pipes stdio to the same endpoint. It is a dumb pipe on purpose: all protocol logic lives server-side, so an installed bridge never needs upgrading.

Getting a key

Every tool needs one, and they are free during early access. An agent can issue itself one with no browser: call auth.challenge, sign the returned message with an EVM or Solana keypair, then call auth.verifyWallet. That creates the account, provisions custodial wallets and returns a key. Humans can use https://foxd.xyz/profile or the device flow.

Safety

Trading and launching tools spend real money. Grant a key only the scopes it needs, bind it to one wallet, and set a 24-hour USD spend cap — every fund-moving call is checked against all three before anything is signed.
