Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

FSS Link Companion

The FSS Link Companion extension seamlessly integrates FSS Link. This extension is compatible with both VS Code and VS Code forks.

Features

  • Open Editor File Context: FSS Link gains awareness of the files you have open in your editor, providing it with a richer understanding of your project's structure and content.

  • Selection Context: FSS Link can easily access your cursor's position and selected text within the editor, giving it valuable context directly from your current work.

  • Native Diffing: Seamlessly view, modify, and accept code changes suggested by FSS Link directly within the editor.

  • Launch FSS Link: Quickly start a new FSS Link session from the Command Palette (Cmd+Shift+P or Ctrl+Shift+P) by running the "FSS Link: Run" command.

Requirements

To use this extension, you'll need:

  • VS Code version 1.101.0 or newer
  • FSS Link (installed separately) running within the VS Code integrated terminal
