Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Fundet Code - AI coding agent CLI (based on pi)

Readme

Fundet Code

Fundet Code is an AI coding agent CLI for the terminal. It gives the model four built-in tools — read, write, edit, and bash — and can be extended with TypeScript extensions, skills, prompt templates, and themes.

Fundet Code is based on pi (MIT license), rebranded for internal distribution. It tracks upstream pi releases.

Install

npm install -g fundet-code

Authenticate with an API key, then start:

export ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=sk-ant-...
fundet

Usage

fundet # Interactive mode
fundet -p "Summarize this repo" # Print mode (non-interactive)
fundet --mode rpc # RPC mode for process integration
fundet -c # Continue most recent session
fundet --help # Full CLI reference

In interactive mode, type / for commands (/model, /login, /settings, /resume, /compact, …) and /hotkeys for keyboard shortcuts.

Configuration

  • Global config: ~/.fundet/agent/ (settings.json, models.json, auth.json, extensions/, skills/, prompts/, themes/)
  • Project config: .fundet/ in the project root
  • Environment overrides: FUNDET_CODING_AGENT_DIR, FUNDET_CODING_AGENT_SESSION_DIR
  • Version check against pi.dev is disabled; opt in with FUNDET_VERSION_CHECK=1
  • Install/update telemetry is opt-in (enableInstallTelemetry in settings.json)

Extensions & custom providers

Fundet Code is compatible with the pi extension ecosystem:

  • Extensions in ~/.fundet/agent/extensions/ or .fundet/extensions/ can register tools, commands, event handlers, and UI. They may import from fundet-code, @earendil-works/pi-coding-agent, @earendil-works/pi-ai, @earendil-works/pi-agent-core, or @earendil-works/pi-tui.
  • Custom providers speaking the OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google APIs can be added via ~/.fundet/agent/models.json.
  • Existing pi packages (npm/git) work unchanged; the "pi" manifest key and pi-package keyword are still recognized.

See the upstream documentation for details: https://pi.dev/docs/latest

License

MIT. Based on pi by Mario Zechner and contributors — see CHANGELOG.md for upstream history.
