Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

gaitor-orchestrator-cli

v2.0.0

Published

Harness-agnostic CLI scaffolding tool for cost-aware AI-Driven Development Lifecycle (AI-DDLC) workspace with multi-agent parallelization.

Readme

gaitor-orchestrator-cli

Scaffold a new AI-Driven Development Lifecycle (AI-DDLC) workspace in seconds.

Quick start

# Interactive (recommended)
npx gaitor-orchestrator-cli my-project

# Skip prompts and include all features

Development

Prerequisites

  • Node.js ≥ 20
  • Run npm install from the repository root (or packages/cli/) before running tests

Running the CLI locally from this repo

For contributors working inside this monorepo, use the root script alias if you do not want to install globally.

# this will collocate my-project in packages/cli/ for easy access to the source code and test files
npm run gaitor -- --help
npm run gaitor -- my-project

That script builds packages/cli and then runs the CLI, so you do not need to invoke the bin file manually.

For published-package usage as an end user, keep using:

npx gaitor-orchestrator-cli my-project
# or install globally
npm i -g gaitor-orchestrator-cli
gaitor create my-project
gaitor-create my-project

Running tests

# From the repository root
npm test --workspace=packages/cli

# Or directly from the package directory
cd packages/cli
npm test

The test runner is the built-in Node.js node:test module — no extra framework required.

Test suite

Tests live in src/__tests__/:

| File | What it covers | |------|---------------| | cli.test.js | End-to-end CLI behaviour via spawnSync: --help output, --version, all --no-* flags, --yes non-interactive scaffolding, {{PROJECT_NAME}} substitution, and non-zero exit when the target directory already exists | | scaffold.test.js | Unit tests for scaffold(): base file creation, every opt-in feature (agents, instructions, prompts, hooks, ido, tools, skills, mcp), _underscore.dot file/directory renaming, template substitution, and graceful handling of unknown feature IDs | | prompts.test.js | Unit tests for the FEATURES registry shape (keys, label, description fields) and the non-interactive fast-path of askProjectName |
